Walpole Cross Keys Primary School

Time to party at WCK

It was party time at Walpole Cross Keys Primary, when staff and pupils dressed in festive knitwear and enjoyed a special Christmas lunch together.

To add a creative twist to the Christmas Jumper Day celebration, our children also made their own seasonal place mats and table decorations for the meal.

“All the children and staff took part,” said Billy Overton, Assistant Headteacher at the school, which is a member of the West Norfolk Academies Trust.

“We don’t usually charge for Christmas Jumper Day, so were not raising money this time,” he continued. “It just helps everyone get into the Christmas spirit and share a bit of time together at the end of a long and busy time.

“It’s a great day – all of the staff get involved in serving food and party along with the children while they have their Christmas lunch.”

Other WNAT schools holding their own Christmas Jumper Days included Marshland High School, Smithdon High School, Springwood High School, and Clenchwarton Primary.
